Y.E.S.M.M.E.N stands for (Youth Enrichment Services Male Mentoring Enrichment Night) and is an after school mentoring program scheduled every Thursday of each month. The purpose of Y.E.S.M.M.E.N. is to provide a safe environment for the physical, emotional, and social development of teenaged men through mentoring, physical activity and group forum style discussions on issues they face every day. The ultimate goal is to create a positive majority of young men that are informed and motivated leaders in their community. In a positive majority, the males will be able to with stand negative peer pressure because they would have established a peer group amongst themselves and it will have contagious effect on all of those who come in contact with it.
